Rabbosai, I am slowly climbing the mountain. I can see the peak but I still have a few days left. I am on day 77 and B"H feeling pretty good. I am trying very hard not to let my guard down because I know in the back of my head that it doesnt matter wether it is day 5 or 89 the yetzer horah will do whatever he can to make us fall and be miyaesh!
Now is the time I really need the chizzuk as I push for the summit. They say when people climb Everest the most dangerous time is the final ascent. I feel that it is similar in our fight as the yetzer knows that if he can make me fall close to the top it would really kill me and I may not be able to get back up. So therefore I am going to be extra vigilent over the next 2 weeks.
Derech Agav, I noticed that the Shabbos after I reach 90 days happens to be exactly 1 yr since I joined the sight.
Yu people are amazing and have been a tremendous chizuk.

I knew it I was on You Tube looking at some things which were not appropriate. The scary thing is I didn't stop immediatley. B"H i did not let it go on too long, Maybe 5 minutes or so and then a something inside me said, you better get outta here before you get in too deep. I closed it up and went to bed. B"H I had tremedous help from above adn I was able to control myself. It was a mussar haschil for me that I cannot let my guard down...not after 5 days and not after 80 days and not EVER!!!
By the way, we are holding at day 82!!

But an addict will always be an addict, and we will always be very sensitive to these things. We need to avoid that first "slip" or we can fall fast and hard before we know it. Youtube is pure poison for us. Make sure to have your filter block it. Looking forward to 90 coming up soon!

Today has been a very difficult day. There is a part of me that wants to act out and I dont know where it is coming from? I am 82 days in and I dont understand why I am all of a sudden getting these thoughts? I was hoping that as I get closer to 90 the thoughts would go away but now it seems as I get closer and closer, the desire is getting stronger!!
The other thought that keeps going through my mind is that there is no way I can do this forever! I know I should be thinking one day at a time but how can I conquer this LONG TERM???
I wish that there was a magic wand that I could waive and everything will be fixed but alas, it is just not that simple!

He knows your about to accomplish something unbelievable and tremendous so hes putting up the best fight hes got. Seriously this is how he works. So show him that youve got what it takes to beat him. It gives me so much chizuk seeing all the people that reach 90. It gives me that extra push to try and make it.
