I'm not so fluent in (old) French, so I checked the Metargum on that Tavzig. He explains it as getting up and preparing to dance (קימה, הכנה למחול). Sounds like the opposite of kumzitz.

You know you're on GYE for a while when you notice that this thread is being used for a different purpose than that which it was created for, and you know the term for it as well, it's called a "hijacking".

-you wish somebody chatzlocha and want to add "and KOMT"
-whenever you see the word "gevura" you wonder "and where is the exclamation mark ??"

or it can go like this:
"-avrumi? you remember what the rov said? was it mutar or ossur?
-here, rivki, take this recording of our conversation with him, its somewhere towards the end" :D;D

-if, as you have a conversation with a couple of friends you will first quote exactly the sentences you want to comment, even in case it was said just 3 sec before, to get sure that MAMASH EVERYBODY will understand, what u're speaking about.
