when you receive the following type of response to your post:

...crazy...pestering...harrasment...annoyance…

...all the while "pestering" people...

...I'm bound to wonder if your advice is worth the pixels that appear on my display.

you know u are on gye for a while when u actually start having recovery and living the GYE philosophies and are doing more than "just surviving" in the streets.

1 You cant read the screen anymore because your eyes and limbs refuse to do your bidding. (You really need to chill!!!)
2 Father a child you dont know about because you were too focused on GYE (I would imagine you are here too much in that case)
3 If theres is a nuclear attack and you just "didnt know" becuase you were too busy "Welcoming the Newcomers" (this is practically not so shayich like 1 and 2)

you know you're on GYE for a while when you stop being offended so easily and share your recovery progress honestly.
Anyone can share thoughts on what others ought to be doing. And anyone can exercise their sensitivity muscle by reading too much into other people's posts.
A ton of people come here to enlighten the community with the final solution to our common problem. The real issue with that is, these people have nothing to show for their theories as far as tangible sobriety and progressive victory over lust go.
I share my dispicable, nish-passige, crazy behaviour and compulsions with others here. I also share what I am doing to stay sober, and the length of my sobriety (356 days today; another way to know that you're on GYE for a while AND that GYE is working for you).
And of course, I share that I am self-centered, insecure, angry, and a compulsive masturbator and porn-watcher to add.
So I don't think that getting an honest feedback on one's posts is an indication of how long you've been around.
I am just as happy to share my (crazy, insecure, angry) ideas with newbies as with senior members (or even global moderators).
But I think that you know you're a while on GYE when you're able to focus on making progress in recovery and let the perceived insults wash off of you.

Oh, wait, is this Just Having Fun section? Sorry to be the party-pooper (again).
