pinokio	world's not so bad- it could stand for s/thing like: W.orking O.n R.eal L.ife D.ifficultie/Delinquency OR TRY LORD W, same letters as world OR W.ill O.bliterate R.eckless L.ustfull D.estruction!!!!!!!!!! I LIKE it!

im not alone	soda i think that would make a great name but if your father gave you by your bris the name world, then its a done deal nothing you could do about it so i simply dont understand your question, its like asking what day of the week should i keep shabbos? nuts or perhaps maybe just add a name (considering you are sick :) hello soda world!!!

i beg to differ.
a name that is un-used is not considered a name. if someone accidently names is child after a living relative they dont use the name and they just give a new name.....obviously if this happens you must ask your rebbi. but this is the general rule.

If someone was given a name, but he is not called by that name - EVER. Then for all halachik purposes that names acquires the status of a "Forgotten name" and it is no longer considered his name. Any shtaros or legal documents that do not have that name will still be considered complete.

Also, now I've joined in the D.C. call, and everyone (almost) seems to have straightforward names.
