Hey R' Bards, do you know what this means? ;D

Agav, we have to start a Lechaim time for all the Israelis.
8:30 by you = 3:30 for us = not happening.

Let's shoot for 8:00,
Maybe for a new thread too...

I know 2 more people that do arak and OJ  one is only 19 and the other lives in USA, so don't get so exited. I guess it's a good drink.

Sadly though there is very little basis for being mekayeim ANY mitzvah while getting drunk on ANYTHING OTHER THAN WINE. See Nitei Gavriel for the sole mareh makom HE could find (and he has crazy mareh mekomos from all over-mostly chassidish though).  Ayin Sham (oh and if you never say the sefer, walk onto any self-respecting shteibel or chasiddishe place, and you should find at least 1/4 of his sefarim. he's got well over 30 already!)

1) dude i was joking.

2) there are big poskim who hold kol davar shemishtaker is fine!! And i know on NG.

so last night mrs rage and i cracked open a 2006 napa valley special reserve from baron herzog...yum! for all those guys that are holding on to this one, its got a real nice taste right now...a little young but still...you can really taste the fruit and the wine reminds you what a c.s. is supposed to taste like...a little sour and a little sweet...very pleasantly surprised....

and im totally stoked because a friend of a friend of mine is coming in from jamaica today and hes bringing for me 2 bottles of the red stripe bold, which i havent seen in the u.s. yet...hopefully ill have it tomorrow in time for shabbis...

cmon rage!! Are you really one of those dudes who think shoe polish tastes better from a wine bottle??

It's almost Shabbos here...and I bought some Woodford under the influence of GYE! The guy in the shop said it's amazing also. So I'm pretty excited to try this Woodford that's so present on people's minds. Good Shabbos!

My uncle came in from the chutz, and brought me a nice present.
Two chosheve bottles of scotch.
A 21 livet, and a blue label.

NICE!!

My uncle happens to be awesome.
I hope he's not a member here.
If you are - don't tell my father I'm here.

I also bought a bottle of Woodford under the influence of the chevreh here. my wife thought it kind of strange since its a bit out my usual comfort zone. I think she thinks that "he is probably having a we bit bit of mid life crisis ....."  ;D ;D ;D

i just said to her that  some of my friends recommend  it highly. THE TRUTH! NO??? ;D ;D ;D

anyway i made a huge hearty warm l'chaim @ around 8.......on Friday night to u all .

warmest lchaim and love to all

Noorah

BTW i still feel the warmth of the friday night  Lcahim that im considering doing another one tonight

hahahahah  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
