I know 2 more people that do arak and OJ one is only 19 and the other lives in USA, so don't get so exited. I guess it's a good drink.

Sadly though there is very little basis for being mekayeim ANY mitzvah while getting drunk on ANYTHING OTHER THAN WINE. See Nitei Gavriel for the sole mareh makom HE could find (and he has crazy mareh mekomos from all over-mostly chassidish though). Ayin Sham (oh and if you never say the sefer, walk onto any self-respecting shteibel or chasiddishe place, and you should find at least 1/4 of his sefarim. he's got well over 30 already!)

I actually did this to a therapist. Ever saw a therapist crack in middle of a session? I dropped most of her issues on her head... It's audible. It wasn't particularly productive. But...refreshing...
