After all that back and forth I was hoping for a double episode, since we already saw the last one.

R Grant,
Please clarify is the new thread verbatim of what was said in the old one or do we have to read through the whole thing again to catch on to a new plot?
Thanks

I was just reading through this discussion again. It's a good read. (If you aren't the subject being examined under the microscope

Just wanted to use this opportunity to remind everyone to please PM me if they feel something was triggering in an unnecessary way. I do try much harder to leave all that stuff out, and write in a much more vague way, but you never know. I really don't want to be responsible for someone getting triggered...

I must say that I was slightly confused when I saw something was written on this older thread- by The General himself, no less!- and jumped to the conclusion that you had mistakenly written the next chapter here...
But alas, I must continue waiting with bated breath.

The recent chapter was great. I think you did an excellent job of telling the story without triggering anyone.

Just 2 random thoughts:

1) Why was he so shell-shocked at what he had just done if he had been trying to be oiver on eishes ish for the last few months without success? Isn't eishes ish worse than a prostitute?

2) I see where you're going with the stealing of his identity and all... but I was kind of hoping you would bring Moe to "hit bottom" in a more natural way. I want people to read this story and say, "that could happen to me", I better get help. But if something very unusual happened to him which causes him to hit bottom, people won't see it happening to them and it will have less of an impact. What do you think?

In regard to your first point. It's very nice and well to hope for something and try to accomplish it, but at the end of the day not necessarily do we realize the magnitude of it until after we have done it.

Regarding your second point. No one is stealing anyone's identity...

Great points.
If I may add my 2 cents, it's true that the unusual part can be something that people think is far fetched, on the other hand we need to realize the risk involved in this behavior that it can lead very quickly to situations that we never dreamed of (including major health issues and other life threatening situations).
As I understand, the goal of the story is to bring us the possible facts in an emotional way so we can take recovery more seriously.

please see the comment from "hashem Help Me" here

The scary part of this latest installment is that unfortunately these things really happen.....
