I sent the Haskama to Rabbi Twerski, and asked him to reconsider giving us one too (since he once told me he doesn't give Haskamos any more). But I claimed that this issue was Pikuach Nefesh and his Haskama could help us grow and spread hope for so many Yidden. So he sent me back a Haskama (which he then offered to put on a letter-head with his signiture as well). Here is what he wrote:

I thought that my contributions to the website constituted a haskama!.

I doubt that at any time in our history there has been as grave a threat to the morality of our people and to the stability of the Jewish family as the plague of addiction to internet pornography. I vaguely recall reading that before the Ultimate Redemption, Hashem will remove all restraints from the Satan, and I think that the plague of addiction to pornography is the fulfillment of this prediction.

If it were possible to restrict access to the internet, this would be ideal. Unfortunately, this cannot be achieved, and we must deal with reality.

There is no immunity to this problem. It has affected learned and otherwise Torah-observant people, who have been trapped in the addiction.
I try to contribute to this website, because it is virtually the only effective method available.

The “Guard Your Eyes” website is saving lives and families. Much more can be done to extend this invaluable program, but support is necessary to allow its continuing function and expansion. Supporting this life-saving cause is a great mitzvah.

Post it on the ddor of every shteibel in EY. Plaster the streets of Meah Shearim. Post it in the Mir bulletin board! Make some noise ppls!  I once posted this site's adress at my (then) local shteibel, and I wonder how many avreichim from my yeshiva read it (not they they ever daven int he shteibel CV, bidieved mybe)!  Cmon, there has got to be SOME way every one of us can spread the word!

This haskomoh is absolutely amazing. It is about time. And it will just be the first. Everything the Rosh HaYeshiva said is completely obvious to many, but no one wanted to come out and say it. The king is now wearlng clothes after having realized that everyone was taken in by the clever tailors (the yetzer horah). Truly a watershed event. I hope. Now even more so with Rabbi Twerski sounding less hesitant.

The truth is that we have to be ready to realize that some very intelligent and knowing people may not be ready to make a statement as clear as Rabbi Feldman or Rabbi Twerski. There is the other side. But we do  what we understand to be the "richtege  zach" and try to get more letters of approbation, haskomos, whatever can be gotten.

It was Kedusha, and only Kedusha that made this possible. Without Kedusha, we can't spread GYE can we? After all, that's our underlying message... As the Rosh Yeshiva hinted (with his Ruach hakodesh) in his Haskama when he quoted the Pasuk "Veheyisem Kedoshim" 

Why did Rav Feldman shlitoh only mention men being in danger? Is it because that is the fact of the matter, or because the letter is not the place to discuss the women issue?
