Dear members of the forum,

So as you may have heard I recently had a fall.  But I am so eager to get back on the horse and pick up right where I left off.  I am looking forward to accumulating day after day of kedusha.  I want to keep davening for kedusha and keep learning as much as a I can to become more aware of the mitzvah of shmiras einayim.
The chizuk I recieved today was that even though I was nichshal in the past, R' Yonah says I should start from a new point and keep going forward.  I should never allow my past actions to slow me down.  I also learned that even in the non-Jewish world they say that receiving pleasure from pritzus deadens ones attraction to his wife.  If the goyim are aware of this al achas kamah v'kamah should we be michazeik ourselves to be borei'ach min ha'aveira.

Have a great day and win today!

Dear members of the forum,

Thank you for your continued viewing of my posts, it gives me chizuk.

Today I learned that besides the mitzvas lo sa'ase of v'lo sasuru, there is also a mitzvas asei to be kadosh.  Imagine what a difference it could make if when we see someting not tznius we say, we have a special mitzvah to be kasdosh and control what we look at.

The other thing I learned is that shmiras einayim is similar to holding back from putting a hand in fire.  Meaning, a child might say, wow the flame looks so nice, I want to get closer, until he decides to stick his hand in the fire and he gets burned.  The same holds true for looking at pritzus.  Yes it may look appealing but we must realize that we can burned if we look and gaze.

May we all be zoche to keep the flame of our neshamos burning strong!
