One theme that recurs in many of the GUE materials and/or forum messages is not to try fighting the Y"H head on.

In that spirit, here's an idea: if confronted by the Y"H, politely explain that you don't have time at the moment, but that you would be willing to make an appointment.  Take out your calendar and explain that you're all booked for today, but are available at, say 3:00 P.M. tomorrow (I say "tomorrow," because that's consistent with the concept of "one day at a time").  In the meantime, do what you can to strengthen yourself, including getting support from others on or off this forum.  Make sure you are in a safe place at the designated time, and apologize profusely, but explain that you need to reschedule again.  You get the picture!
Just as an alcoholic needs to avoid that first sip, a lust addict needs to avoid that first slip.Slip today? No way! ;)Fall today? No way, Jose'!

B"H

Thanks, I really like it.

Reminds me of the fact that Rav Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld ZT"L, who usually was very against kinah, said that he was jealous of the viduy of the Shaagas Aryeh. When the Shaagas Aryeh was on his deathbed the people around told him to say viduy. The Shaagas Aryeh looked up at said "Yezter Hara I was so busy learning I didn't have time to consider listening to you."

I remember a t-shirt
"I only can tolerate one idiot per day. Today is not your day.
Tommorow isn't looking good either."

When I have time, Foolish King. Really, I'll get around to it. Honest. I would have the Yetzer Hara go through an Israeli Bureaucracy to speak to me. When he gets the right papers- that the other office can't get to him until your mother-in-law signs , we can talk.

Yup, definitely.
Y"H: Hello, can I come in?
Me: Hayom ie efshar.
Y"H: Why not I have all my paperwork? And the sign says your open now?
Me: Ani mitztaer, aval haya shinui ba'shaot etmol.
Y"H: But it will only take a second. Look, I came all the way from Beitar, could you give me a break?
Me: Adoni, ata lo shomeah? Tachzir limachar!
