Does Guard your Eyes have a position on Out of Town Sponsors?

I have made a strong kesher with a participant from NJ and I live in TX. We have been working the steps almost everyday and making real progress.

Yet, there are those in his local SA Group that are telling him he should have an "in-town" sponsor. I personally have sponsored a number of people by phone and even those sponsees of mine that live in my city do most of our work over the phone.

What do you think?

aaron4	I realize this is not responsive to the original question but I'm from NJ too. I'd be happy to sponsor but prefer e-mail to phone since I'm at work most of the day and phone conversations carry pretty easily.

Using a special, easily installed, free program called crossloop, I (or anyone in the forum for that matter) can help install, make a password or alter k9 web protection.
