Why block vpn on opera when you can just use a different browser?
OpenDNS family shield isn't perfect, glad to hear it works for you. How do you set your dns server? Is your phone rooted? I would like to know how to do it on unrooted phones. I don't think it is possible.
If your phone is rooted you can use other options as well.
