so being an absolute adudiophile (a music lover and sound quality finatic, nothing to do with pedaphilia), and that i grew up not frum/jewish for a good portion of my life, i listen to both jewish and non jewish music. i like to think i dnt listen to garbage, and the goyish music i listen to is good. one example is this song, my favorite song ever. while the artist had a certain machshava in mind, i interpret it as a cry to god, not a 'lover', to bring him out of his comatose state of spiritual death and 'bring me to life'
