i have to admit, i tried many times to keep clean but after long periods i failed, since i joined GYE i feel that because i have a sence of BELONGING to a clean group, and i dont want to spoil my dignity, it encourages me to keep strong, so its sometimes vital to reply to a post with the correct encouraging reply, it can make a LIFE diffrence, so KEEEEEEEEEEEEEP TRUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKING!!!

true! for many years i felt that "i have nobody to talk to about my addiction problem" i felt in a prison i was screaming to hashem (quietly, & sometimes loudly, in the car) for help, but i wouldnt dare ask a human being for help as my name will be put to shame & here all of sudden there are real people all having similar challanges, all heading for the same direction all sharing ideas & soloutions, i feel that the heavy burden is gone, out of the window i can ask for help, advice i can even have a lough here & there (oh! it helps) so yes i am all the way with you & bard

I agree. Just knowing I am not alone in my struggles gives me a certain strength to carry on...
