I am a 43 yo male who acted on SSA until 40 until I realized I love Hashem more than the yetzer sitting on my left shoulder.

We just finished Yitro where we "miraculously" chose the "long-short-way" to the Truth and the fantasies nagging us are the short way from the other side. We have to remind ourselves what we beseech G-d with daily: "We know not what to do; but our eyes are upon You. Hashem, remember Your mercies and kindness, for they have existed for ALL time."

I have a long term relationship with a job I've had for 14 years and three old dogs of which the youngest is 14 and Nikee...you have seven angels to praise our Holy Torah for. I pray Hashem brings you comfort and the path He has set for you.
