s4nh OFFLINE Senior Boarder Posts: 48 Karma: 2	Educational site have .edu organizations and learning stuff is usually .org some sites are .net others .com why cant we make a petition or something to force pornsites to be put under .po or something. this would allow us to have more control and filters would be much easier to handle! is this possible?

Unfortunately were dealing with a muti millionaire industry to the economy so it's not going to be an easy fight.

We'd find a way around it.

But actually, it would be more dangerous. There are things out there just as dangerous that aren't officially p*rn. If all serious p*rn was restricted to www.xxx, we'd feel perfectly safe using facebook, etc, etc. We'd NEVER listen to anyone who told us not to use them.

Sort of like that story (or is it a gemara) about someone who wished for one mouth for worldy matters and another one for Torah. He realized, at least with one mouth, you've got to try hard to keep it pure.

I know I'm paraphrasing and messing this story up, but the point is nevertheless a valid one.
