If only we had a delete button for life's actions.

Fortunately, we do.  It's called teshuva:  Tov veyoshor Hashem al kein yoreh chata'im baderech!

Thanks for that wonderful reminder, Yosef H.

You raise a very good question:  Do we need enemies in our life?  My view is that obviously if the RBSO created people with enemies then there must be a purpose.  Personally, I think the purpose of enemies is to help us grow.  After all if I had no enemies and life was easy street I would never grow.  So I believe that we do need enemies in life.  Thank Yosef H. for another important lesson.

I guess we can now get into the debate of whether Tibetian logic is inconsistent with Torah, and, assuming it is, whether one can still follow it so long as its consistent with the 12-steps.  What a great thread you have.

The total sideswipe that recovery performs, when it meets our old stand-by of predictable, time-tested, whining. It's just breathtaking, every time. Especially when it happens to me!

In recovery, all my character defects suffer a silent and squeakless death. They just wonder what happenned, as they get smaller and smaller in the rear-view mirror on my heart.
"Off the 18-wheeler and fine on this tricycle!", "I do not particularly care exactly which "lav" suicide is. I'm not interested in it for other reasons...and you are probably the same."

I'm glad someone understood that.  It was certainly poetic, and if nothing else would leave most scratching their heads saying who was that masked man, and how does he travel so fast in that tricycle.

No ZS, just a neat, 'kung-fu sidestepping' that would make Master Po jealous. Sun Tzu would have nachas....

And since when am I a nice guy, Yosef H.?

BTW, I wonder why the rest of you haven't picked up on this yet: It bothers me when you post all that silliness in this thread.

Why do you want to enjoy yourselves when it is bothersome to another person?
