Reminds me of something I heard way back. I think it was part of a drasha about stubbornness.

Anyway this guy chapped a mishegas that he is dead. Nobody could convince him that he's really still alive. Finally they took him to a top doctor. The doctor asked him "Do dead men bleed?" He said "No". So the doctor said "I'll cut you and if you bleed you'll know that you are alive".
The doctor took a knife and cut the guy's arm and the blood ran out. The guy looked at it and said "What do you know! Dead men DO bleed!"

Ooh, ooh, dead men...
Priest, minister and Rabbi being interviewed about death and mortality.  "What would you like them to say at your funeral?" asked the interviewer.
The priest replied, "That we should love one another".
The minister replied, "That I worked for world peace".

"And Rabbi?  What would you like them to say at your funeral?"
"I'd like them to say...'I think he's moving!'".

They also say:

"I seldom go to films. They are too exciting"

The Honourable Possum as quoted by John Allyn Smith

and

"The opossum is a very sophisticated animal. It doesn't even get up until 5 or 6 PM."

Oh and also:

"Those who claim the dead never return to life haven't ever been around here at quitting time."

and

"There are two perfect men; one dead, and the other unborn."
