Amazing! This encounter sounds like it came straight out of a Gadol book from a previous Dor!

Writing it out might make it seem like I was busy calculating all these things, and perhaps overdoing it, but in real-time the thoughts came and went pretty quickly and naturally. It feels good to acknowledge a level of control and enough awareness to maneuver the situation appropriately. Thank you Hashem for accepting my commitment and effort to do better, and helping me accomplish and appreciate an overall positive outcome. Kol Tov.

BHBH I can't thank you enough for taking the time to write this out!!! It's crucial to highlight and celebrate our own successes, and even more valuable posted on here where it inspires myself and others. I know I've had a couple situations recently where I was oimed b'nisayon in a way that made me feel incredible, and right afterwards I had a thought to write about it (either to capture the victory and feelings for myself or to also post it on here). But then I thought to myself, "it all happened naturally and was just a few seconds, and seeing it written out will seem silly and like I was awkwardly calculating every movement" so I refrained from writing. And now I forgot them altogether! What a waste of a kiss from HKBH! (and it is surely a kiss from Him when I feel the geshmak of a victory!)

Now seeing you actually take the time to write it out, and how you address my thought that prevented me from doing the same, I know this is worthwhile, and so inspiring!! I definitely need the opportunity to work on celebrating victories, so bl"n I'll write it up the next time I have a similar situation... and b'zchuscha, BHBH, I'll post it!

Shalom GYE.
. . .
All the best!

What a truly incredible year it has been. A year of learning, growing, sharing, connecting, and living.

Life is often full of uncertainties, but as much as one can be, I feel sure that this was the right place for me to be, and the reason for that is all of you.

My Dear and Beloved Brothers of GYE,
You are the closest thing I have to feeling k'Ish Echad b'Lev Echad. This is where I feel the strongest sense of being part of the Am Hashem, a member of His holy nation of Klal Yisroel. This is what home feels like. This is where we can belong to something that is exponentially greater than the sum of its parts. The Shalsheles of Vayimaen teaches us Yosef's struggle, and also his salvation. He wavered but also remembered that he is a link. Chain mail armor is strong because all the rings are connected, working together, helping each other with a united goal. This makes us complete. We are a family where every single member matters just as much as his neighbor. We may be more closely connected to some than others, but we are all equal parts of a shared purpose.

It is an immeasurable zechus to be linked to each one of you. Arm-in-arm, you give me hope and confidence in our God-given strength to keep pushing the line forward. A single step at a time, we journey as one towards our own salvation, and the ultimate redemption of Moshiach that we are ushering in together. As much as we long for him, I imagine he too yearns to greet and kiss each one of us, without exception.

With tremendous love and appreciation,
Kol Tov,
BH
Today is yesterday's tomorrow.
The yetzarim a person has the most trouble dealing with are his most powerful God-given tools for developing his potential and achieving shleimus.
It doesn't matter how big the number is, only that today it is going up by one.

Please feel free to reach out. I'd appreciate connecting with you (via GYE, email, or phone - whatever floats your boat)
