What's the difference between SA and SLAA?

I could be mistaken, but I think it has to do with the definition of sobriety. I think in SLAA you set your own definition. In SA the definition is no masturbation and no extramarital sex.

All I know is O'Mottel said he wasted a year in SLAA until he found SA.
