Hello Everyone,

My name is John and I'm new to this forum.  My situation is like that of many posters in this forum. I've attempted to live a clean and pure life, but have failed over and over again. This time, I've installed what appears to be a fool proof filter on my home computer.  I'd like to find an accountability partner that could receive reports from the WebChaver installed on my computer. I'm willing to serve as an accountability as well. I realize that it's best to have an accountability partner that you already know and can trust, but for several reasons, that is not an option for me at the current time. Thanks for listening.

John

Hello and welcome!
As people come out of SHabbos in different time zones, you'll receive many welcomes as well as answers to your request. In the meantime, mke yourself comfortable, read different threads and other materials on this website, and stay clean...just for today.

Welcome John!

I agree with you that your WebChaver will be most effective if the reports go to someone you know.  You don't need to tell them you're having a challenge.  Just tell them you thought it was a good idea to install WebChaver to keep you from ever being tempted.  Believe me, if they have internet access and a Y chromosome, they'll understand.

I hope you'll do more than just install a filter and accountability software, though.
If youre hooked on the stuff, there's more to recovery than that.
Care to share more of your story and where you're holding with this?

Welcome again!
Alex
