I just wanted to point out that the subtitle of this category is faulty.

To Quote "...for people who are not as addicted...".

You either are addicted or you're not.

You either have an illness or you don't.

You are either a man or a woman...

The GYE handbook says as follows:
Our recovery system is not only unique for the Jewish community, but unique in the world, in that we address the many different levels of addiction with a program that uses progressively more “addiction oriented” tools based on the level of dependence.

(Feel free to disagree.)

Ho, ho, ho, ha, ha, ha! Yes we do.

Unfortunately, the theorists and deep thinkers are right - while most of the guys who actually are addicts are listening to the sweet song of "yes, if you only get frummer and do better Teshuvah you wiiiiil stop and stay clean!" They love it.

Hey, one man's medicine in another man's poison.

Daven, that's all...and share our own true stories openly and honestly. That's all we can do.
"Off the 18-wheeler and fine on this tricycle!", "I do not particularly care exactly which "lav" suicide is. I'm not interested in it for other reasons...and you are probably the same."
