I doubt it - I don't think people would want to be seen by others, and those who need that kind of connection should probably be attending live SA groups.

i m not talking about being seen but rather about the fact that people living abroad could join these groups easily and for free.

In that case, maybe.  I'll let the technical experts step in.

Some pbx's/conference bridges allow for skype connections

Actually there is a teleconference service, from the same company that DC's calls are using now, which offers free teleconferences that you can connect to through Skype - http://www.freeconferencing.com/ . You can call in with a regular phone or with Skype and no one sees each others Skype name. When connecting through Skype you just call "freeconferencing" and then enter the conference number with the keypad as you would if you were calling from a regular phone.


The only one who can potentially see Skype names and caller-id's is the one who logs in to the online account for that conference number, but it's not necessary for anyone to actually login in order to conduct the call. The leader of the call could avoid that logging in if you want to maintain anonymity. There are some really useful features if you login to the account, like muting specific callers if their line has too much background noise, but logging in is not required for the call to be conducted.

I recommend using www.freeconferencecallhd.com  It's a sister company of the one you're using now, www.freeconferencecall.com, but this one allows you to call in via Skype free.  All you do is add freeconferencecallhd.{the call in phone number} as a Skype contact.

I use this all the time for business and the quality is (nearly) always amazing.  Those who call in via Skype sound better than those who call via phone.

Not as a free skype to skype, but you can if you have the skype call out service (which has a charge). If you want to call online for free you can use Google voice. You might need to call from the conference call backline and then call the conference call #, and then access code. Here's the backline number - (559) 546-1400, then dial 760 569 6000, then 121318

I don't have google voice (mybe because I have a EnativeGoogle mailbox)

Nah I got Enativ filtering., and I use the Enativ-mail account.  They have it blocked

i can't open a real gmail account, since the buzz feature is my only real loophole to pornograpy, so i shouldn't be using gmail! (Google voice they think of blocking, but buzz-porn they forget!)
