PARSHAS MIKETZ SHABBOS CHANUKKA

This weeks Parsha has a terrific lesson that we can apply to our struggle and to our lives.

Here Goes

We find that when Yosef Hatzaddik speaks to Pharo

He speaks with tremendous humility

Pharo tells him "I hear you can decipher dreams"

Yosef says "blaadie" it is not from me what Hashem puts into my mouth that's what I will say

HELLO IS THIS THE SAME YOSEF??THE YOSEF FROM LAST WEEKS PARSHA??

When Yosef was enticed by the "potefera" he Says
"THERE IS NO ONE GREATER IN THE HOUSE MORE THAN ME"

Is this the same Yosef??

The Terertz is...
Before a nisayon one must muster up ALL his ego and say THE WORLD WAS CREATED FOR ME!!

One of the greatest tricks of the YH is to convince us that our existence is insignificant. Therefore what's the big deal to sin.
Second thing he does he downplays the sin.acchh its just a small aveirahleh.

At that point Yosef says Ano Gadol Babaiyis yoser mimeni"  and he says Vi-aych eseh haraah hagdolah!

That is how yosef talks to the YH.that's called
Vayigbeh Libo bidarkei Hashem.

A vayigba libo can only come from a true anav!!

BALANCE BALANCE BALANCE

This Shabbos is an ess ratzon!!!

I blees all of you and ALL of kllal yisroel with peace and happiness

WATLITW

GOOD SHABBOS

פרשת  ויחי

HAPPY NEW YEAR BAR SHEYSHACH

BY BARDICHEV:

this is a special dvar torah in honor of heiliger guard in the honor of his son's bar-mitzvah
may he be a source of nachas too all of klal yisroel (like his tatty)

THE גמרא IN  מס' ע''ז  RELATES A WONDERFUL STORY.

THE AMORAH RAVA רבא  WENT ON NEW YEARS ׂ (ACCORDING TO SOME MIFORSHIM)

TO VISIT A POWERFUL NON-JEW NAMED BAR- SHAYSHACH

THIS FELLOW BAR SHAY-SHACH WAS AT THE TIME BATHING IN ROSE PETALS, SURROUNDED BY ZONOS

WE CAN SAY HE WAS LIVING THE “BABYLONIAN DREAM”

MOCKINGLY HE ASKED RAVA , ARE YOU GOING TO HAVE SUCH ENJOYMENT IN “OLAM HABA”??

RAVA ANSWERED HIM THAT HIS ENJOYMENT IS INCOMPLETE BECAUSE HE IS STILL IN FEAR OF THE KING. BAR SHAY-SHACH LAUGHED AT THAT TOO, AS HE WAS LAUGHING HE WAS SUMMONED TO APPEAR IN FRONT OF THE KING .HE BLESSED RAVA WITH A BACK HAND COMPLIMENT THAT WHO EVER LOOKS WITH AN EVIL EYE AT JEWS HIS EYES SHOULD POP OUT. (HE WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH RAVA THAT WHAT HE SAID CAME TRUE, RASHI) RAVA ANSWERED WITH A HEARTY AMAIN!! GUESS WHAT?? BAR SHATSHACH'S EYE POPPED OUT

OK THIS GEMARA NEEDS MANY EXPLANATIONS.

THE GEMARA CONTINUES WITH OTHER ANSWERS RAVA COULD HAVE ANSWERED HIM REGARDING THE OLAM HABA QUESTION WHICH BRINGS ME TO THIS WEEKS PARSHA

ONE OF THE TERUTZIM IS A PASSUK IN TEHILLIM  MEM HEH PASSUK YUD

WHICH SAYS THAT YOSEF HATZADDIK WAS ZOCHE TO SO MUCH, BECAUSE HE SHUNNED HIS EYES. WHILE  IN EGYPT ,FROM LOOKING AT THE EGYPTIAN WOMEN.

(WHICH IN ON ITSELF CAN BLOW ONES MIND THE KEDUSHA OF YOSEF HATZADDIK)

OK BARDS WHERE ARE WE GOING??

SAYS MY HEIILGEH ZAYDEH THE KEDUSHAS LEVY ZECHUSO YAGAIN ALENU

THERE ARE TWO THINGS ONE CAN DO WHEN HE IS BEING TESTED WITH A STRONG NISAYON

HE CAN SAY YES THIS IS PLEASURE YES THIS IS ENJOYMENT BUT.. BUT.. WHY GET THE SAMPLER ON THIS WORLD AND MISS OUT ON THE REAL ENJOYMENT IN THE WORLD TO COME!!

BE,ZER HASHEM I WOULD LIKE TO EXPOUND ON THIS IN THE FUTURE.
BUT NOW I WOULD LIKE TO USE THIS KEDUSHAS LEVY TO EXPLAIN THIS STORY.

RAVA COULD HAVE TOLD BAR SHAYSHAC YES BUDDY THIS IS FUN YES THIS IS ENJOYMENT! NO QUESTION BUT YOU ARE ONLY TASTING THE SAMPLE

WHY? A. YOUR ENJOYMENT IS NOT COMPLETE YOU CANT FULLY ENJOY BOTH THE ROSY BATH “AND THE ZONOS WHY BECAUSE GASHMIUS ENJOYMENT HAS PHYSICAL LIMITS

I FEEL WE CAN USE THIS  AS A PRACTICAL TOOL IN MILCHEMES HAYETZER.

SAY YES Y’H SHE IS GORGEOUS BUT.. BUT.. WHY SETTLE FOR THE SAMPLE

THERE IS A FEW MORE LESSONS I WOULD LIKE TO BRING OUT FROM THIS GEMARA AND FROM THE KEDUSHAS LEVY
BE’ZER HASHEM

WITH ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD

Happy New Year continued

The second thing that is different between physical pleasure and the Real pleasure

Physical pleasure has a phisical max
There is only so much food we can eat or only so much one can act out till we go into shutdown mode

And the pleasurable part is so short lived

That's why people spend so much time on "seeking pleasure"

Says my zayda again stop seeking and start enjoying!!

There is a story of a poritz who used to bathe in champaign (maybe a descendant of bar shayshach)

And he would go skiing in the summer on mountains made of sugar

When someone told the kedushas levy about this poritz
Amd how he really enjoys life

The Rebbe said "did he ever light channuka licht" nu nu he never had enjoyment in life

Of course one must be on an elevated state but.. But.. We can learn a lesson

Going back to new years day ok they pop some corks fire some fire crackers come Monday morning its same old same old

Us yidden go through a slichos ellul rosh hashna etc. Its a rebirth

Cmon now that is pleasure!!

Take that Bar Shay-Shach

We live in a period in history were
People need maximum pleasure and stimulation ALL THE TIME

                                    parshas shemos

dedicated to kanesher and efshar letakain

one of the most difficult Parshios in the Torah is the argument between Moshe rabbinu and Hashem

regarding Moshe taking the Jews out of Egypt

Moshe Rabbeinu asks Hashem what should he answer the Jews when they ask of him what is the name of the savior

And Hashem answers my name is אהי ה-

i will not attempt to answer any questions in the Pshat

only a chizzuk in Avodas hashem fro the Slonimer Rebbe the nesivos shalom

Moshe rabbainu was trubled

he knows that hashems name represents omnipotence

that Hashem was,is ,and will be forever

if so the Jews will never merit redemtion for they are and were idol worshippers

says Hashem to moshe MY NAME IS  אהי ה-  which means WILL BE!!!

rabboisay!!!

lets chapp a rikkud

HASHEM IS MIGALLEH TO US THE SECRET OF REDEMTION

and we are living with the Parsha we can have our personal redemtion

what WILL BE!! is the future

the new me the new you

the future

forget the past it is not NOGAYA!!!

what will be is freedom clarity peace of mind

a happy and uplifting SHABBOS

PARSHAS BO
This is The parsha

(Do I always say that ? )

This is the week we are LIBERATED!!

Yay wow!! Terrific!!

How do we hold on to inspiration? The feelings of freedom the extatic joy??!!
These feelings are so powerful so profound. The paradigm shift from slavery to ultimate freedom!!

But..But.. How do we hold onto those feelings??

How do we (yes us) how do we keep on to those moments of inspiration? Simchas torah? A wedding? A kumzitz?a babys birth? Grand canyon?

FEELINGS. ARE.  FLEETING

We need to take our inspirational moments and put them into ACTION

That's how we hold on

Says the ramban

That's why we have so many mitzvos that are "zecher liyitzias mitzrayim"

Inspiration is a gift

Holding on and running with it is work

But..but.. If we don't what did we gain from being inspired?

Oy yoy shabbos koidesh

WHAT ARE THE JEWS TO DO??

WHAY ARE YOU SCREAMING TO ME

HASHEM WHAT SHOULD WE DO??

SPEAK TO THE NATION AND

וישאו VAYISA-UU

WHAT DOES וישאו MEAN????

IT MEANS KEEP ON TRUCKING!!!

YES HASHEM TELLS US WHEN WE SEEM ALL LOST WHAT CAN WE DO?

JUST MOVE ON!!

megillas esther

HERE IS A GEVALDIGGER CHIZZUK WE CAN GET FROM THE MEGILLA!

LETS COMPARE AND CONTRAST THE TWO LOWEST POINTS OF

MORDECHAI HATZADDIK  AND HAMAN HARASHA

IF I HAD TO CHOOSE THE WORST DAY IN MOREDCHAI HATZADDIKS LIFE

I WOULD GUESS IT WAS THE DAY THAT HAMAN HARASHA WENT TO SEE IF MORDECHAI WAS BOWING TO HIM

AND IT SAYS

THAT HAMAN SAW THAT MORDECHAI "LO YICHREH VILO YISHTACHVEH"

MORDECHAI WILL NOT BOW OR PROSTRATE"

IMAGINE THE BURDEN OF THE RESPONSIBILITY ON MORDECHAIS SHOULDERS

ALL OF KLALL YISROEL ARE SLATED FOR ANNIHILATION

WHY? SOME OLD JEW A RELIC FROM A PREVIOUS GENERATION IS SO STUBBORN HE WILL NOT BOW TO THE KINGS

HIGHEST MINISTER

ANOTHER POINT

WHY IS IT SAID IN A FUTURE TENSE?  MORDECHAI WILL NOT BOW/ MAYBE HAMAN SHOULS "WEAR HIM DOWN OR

PUNISH HIM OR FORCE HIM TO BOW??

NOW LET US ANALIZE HAMANS WORST DAY

WHICH IS THE DAY HE THOUGHT WIL PAN OUT TO BE THE GREATEST DAY IN HIS LIFE

THE DAY HE WAS INVITED TO HIS SECOND PRIVATE MEAL WITH THE ROYALS

THE KIKG ASKS HIM HIM FOR ADVICE ON HONORING AN HONORABLE PERSON

AHA ITS ME

AND HAMAN IS IMAGINING HIMSELF PARADED THROUGH THE STREETS WITH MARCHING BANDS AND MORDECHAI

TRUMPETING HAMANS HONOR

AND AHA

TONITE MY ENEMY WILL HANG FROM THE GALLOWS

OH HOW I WILL ENJOY THE ROYAL FEAST

WE KNOW THE STORY HAMAN WAS MORDECHAIS BARBER BATHER AND HORSE RIDER

HE WAS SHOWERED WITH UNUSUAL CONFETTI

EMBARRASSED AND DEJECTED

HE SCAMPERS TO MAKE HIS ROYAL DINNER

NOW HIS WIFE TELLS HIM A GREAT "CHIZZUK"

"IF MORDECHAI IS A JEW

THAT YOU HAVE BEGUN TO FALL IN FRONT OF HIM

BEWARE HE IS UNTOUCHABLE WHY? YOU WILL FALL IN FRONT OF HIM"

(BTW SHE WAS RIGHT HAMAN WAS HANGING FROM HIS NECK PUNCTUATING THE SHUSHAN SKYLINE WITH HIS DEAD BODY)

WHAT IS THE ADVICE ZERESH TELLS HIM?

WHAT IS THE IF MORDECHAI IS A JEW?

HASNT SHE BEEN PART OF THE PLOT TO KILL MORDECHAI?

DOES SHE NOT KNOW HI RELIGION?

OK BARDS SPILL THE BEANS

HERE GOES (I HAVENT SAID HERE GOES IN A WHILE)

MORDECHAI IN HIS WEAKEST MOMENT WAS SO FULL OF STRENGTH

HAMAN SAW IN HIS RESISTANCE THAT MORDECHAI WILL NEVER EVER EVER BOW TO HIM

NO MATTER WHAT

PUNISH TRY TO WEAR HIM DOWN  TORTURE

NEVER!!!!

LO YICHRA NOT NOW NOT LATER!!!

HAMAN IS A CHEAP SUIT

HE IS GROWING WILDLY

BUT AS SOON AS HE HITS THE ROUGH PATCH BOOM HE IS DONE GONE NOOSE READY!!!

A YEED MAY SLIP OR EVEN FALL BUT HE IS NOT A "GEFALLINNER"

ONLY HAMAN IS NAFAL TIPOL

MAY HASHEM BLESS US WITH A WONDERFUL HAPPY JOYOUS LEBEDIGGE FREAYLICHE PURIM!!!!!!

I know that people come here looking for an inspiring vor from the parsha, so can I post it here? It didn't make it into the chizuk emails :-\ :'(

Parshas Tzesaveh:
The Ramban learns that the oil for the menorah would be provided from those Jews who who posses it, in that they have the nedivus leiv to offer it of their own volition (T. Yonasan Ben Uziel). And the mishna in tamid recounts that upon entering the heichal, the kohein would find 2 neiros still burning. And being that it's a 'stam mishna', it must follow the veiw of Rebi that the westernwards neir would constantly burn. The Ramban explains, that being the "ner Ma'aravi" is reletave to the first Neir. And only relative to the first neir, could it attain the lofty status of being "lifnei hashem". In the nissyonos Hakadosh baruch Hu has given us, there was not a single nissayon that we could not have overcome. But after falling repeatedly we have become addicted to our aveiros, a slave to our yetzer hara.
However, just as Esther finds her identity rooted in the pasuk of Tachas Hanatzuch yaaleh barosh Vetachas Hasirpas Ya'aleh hadas. So too we have the advantage, that by rising from the ashes, and offering of ourselves (adam ki yakrim mikem), we are capable of igniting a "ner tamid" to be "lifnei hashem tamid". Rising from our addiction provides us with the reffrence point  of having a first Neir, to which we can ignite a "Ner ma'aravi".
