Before Kedusha in Shacharis we say

חי עולמים טהור עינים

I know it refers to הקב"ה, but perhaps it can be interpreted as follows referring to ourselves;
Although we are חי עולמים, live in the world, and we must live in the world, we are still expected and we are able to keep טהור עינים.
This came to me during davening on Rosh Hashana.
We are not fighting the YH as a process to get through in order to be able to get back to normal life; the fight wih the YH is the essence of our existence - Hopeing
