rage sorry to hear about the toughness, that sucks. you can either give up or keep trying to learn to drive, but i'm thinking why not right? every teen wants their liscence. hope you keep up until you get used to the gears on the car.

LOVE THYSELF

a person is only able to truly love others if they love themselves properly first and have a healthy self-esteem

Thank-you Rage. I just saw the video. I cried when i saw the guy wearing the mets cap at the kosel, it seems plain to me that Hashem has a real people, he does, and that they do not understand Him, but we really do love Him very, very much. You got me crying again now.

I remember sitting with my father hk"m, doing nothing but holding his hand while he was sure I was someone else than his son, nebach. It's worthwhile to do nothing at all but just to be doing Hashem's Will right now. No prizes or goodies are necessary for me. Right now we are with Him, that's all.

This makes me want to just rip through Olam haZeh and have Him just get it over with, already. Help us let go of everything for You. Everything. My G-d, how long are we going to be in golus! Gevalt, help us.

Time for a little R' Shlomo...
"Off the 18-wheeler and fine on this tricycle!", "I do not particularly care exactly which "lav" suicide is. I'm not interested in it for other reasons...and you are probably the same."

If we really hated this golus, we'd do all we could to finish it!

To put it another way, we're here because we need to learn something, to accomplish something. Let's do it!

Rage - you, of all people, belong on the truck. For some reason, you occasionally decide to get off. But when you're on, you encourage everyone else to an incredible degree. And you already know that you can be sober, and enjoy it, and be happy - so now, you just need to do it!

I once told a friend that We already know he's capable of staying sober - but there's a huge difference between the "him" that's capable of being sober, and the "him" that is sober.

aw, mannnnnnnn. Other folks remembering our posts with such precision that we can cite them chapter and verse? I'm scared. I might be the next one remembered. I shudder to think what THAT could bring.

Trucking, I suppose.

(Whether I mean Bards or the Grateful Dead is up to you. No more musical references from me tonight.)
