GOALS OF THIS THREAD:
1.  Liven up the forum.
2.  Give maximum chizuk to GYE members.


WHAT IS "THE REPLY CHEVRA" ABOUT?
This is a group of GYE members who are interested in giving and getting more replies to others' posts and to their own.  Everyone in the group can expect to recieve more replies to their posts than before they joined this group.


HOW IT WORKS:
There will be an alphabetical list of the members who enroll in the chevra.
Anyone can join as long as they are willing to try to adhere to the rules below.
To have your name added to the list please send me a PM.


WHAT ARE THE RULES?
1.  Try to send at least one reply to three different people on the list each day.
2.  Start with the name that comes after yours in the list, and then proceed down the list in
        alphabetical order.
3.  If you really feel that you can't reply to a particular person's posts, move on to the next
      name on the list.
4.  If you feel that you can post on average about four days a week that's good enough.
      If you log on to GYE less than four days a week on average, then you can't join The
      Chevra at this time. 
5.  It is obviously okay if you have to go away for a week or two and won't be able to post.
        As long as in general you can post replies four days a week, that's good enough.
6.  Even if you only THINK that you'll be able to post replies four days a week, but are not sure
        if you will be able to keep it up, that's also good enough to join.
7.  You can always resign if it gets too difficult. (obviously)



HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THIS IDEA?
Holy Yid created an awareness that many on the forum are feeling ignored.  They get this feeling when their posts go unanswered.  I know that another solution is currently being worked on.  I hope that this will be beneficial as well.

I dont understand! We give to get? i thought the only way we can get out of this mess is to get out of self. I f we want to make a chevra lets make a chevra to post more. To be mechazek. Instead we are complaining pour me(self pity mode) i need more posts.

Dear "World",

I hear you, but think that what "FFTS" is pointing out is pretty valid too. If people would "have" to post because of some duty, or 'chok' that they agree to all the fun would be taken out of it, so there goes the motivation: I believe we generally only do things once we want to do them (....like recovery. I had to be really ready and wanting, not just willing. But I digress.) so I doubt it'd last very long.

But it sure hurts not to be responded to in a post, I know. (Maybe that's why I have no thread of my own!) The only thing I can imagine that would help in the long run is just replying to other people for a few months. Then we can expect to 'buy' some friends. And friends reply to friends....at least sometimes. That's about as good as it gets...for human beings.

You seem like a truly chessed-oriented kind of person, "World". I hope nothing ever dims that.
