This is to ALL GYEers:

If GYE is such an advocate for 12 step groups/calls, then why do we only have 2 going on? If this is the derech to Cheirus, then why can't other people people besides Duvid Chaim and Elya step up to start new groups? There have to be more DC's out there. More Elyas. Hey Guard, what happened to Back to the Basics? Can we get someone to be the sponsor of a group like that?

I am asking this pole for everyone to answer. If there enough people that are willing to do this, maybe another Tzaddik will rise up and lead us to the promise land. If we started a group that 'meets' at night, would people be more likely to join? The middle of the day is very hard for some people to find an hour. The night time might be easier. Maybe its just me though...

As of now the middle of the day is pretty hard for me. A night group may work better. But this may all change soon because my schedule is going to change soon as well. It is definitely not only you Yiddle. Right now during the day is extremely difficult for me. I have to literally steal an hour of time from my employer and go outside for the call. I sit on the street and do the call. Healing is more important for me than anything else in the world right now. If I get fired than so be it (although i really hope I don't). This call is my life-line and I will give up anything to be on it."Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice". MAKE THE TIME!!!

Duvid Chaim is training a whole group of guys... one day we'll have a bunch of his talmidim leading groups at all hours of the day, IY"H!

For example, Steve and DovInIsrael were gonna already start groups of their own, if we asked them to.

And one or two of the women on DC's calls are training in to lead the women groups...

So far 2 people said they want one every night and 5 people said they want it once a week (plus me who said 2-3 times a week. Who woulda though I'd be alone on this  ;D ). Thats 8 people willing to start a new call atleast one night a week. So who else wants to join and who is going to be our commander in chief? Who's going to lead us from the Midbar to Eretz Yisrael? It can be you!

The daytime groups are difficult for me to participate in as I do not have a private office where I can go.  I can do a nighttime group as my wife knows of my struggle and so I do not need to hide it from her.

I would join one during the afternoon hours. (between 1-5:30 pm est. ) i would do 3-4 times a week. as for nights it would really depend on schedule.

OK I ma bringing this to the top of the Break Free thread one more time. Please people answer the pole if you do or dont have interest in a night meeting. Maybe with enough people, Guard will get us someone to start up in the summer.

How about after 5 pm Eastern time? I can only call when,I am in the office. Staying late in the office had a lot to do with my acting out & avoiding my resp. as a spouse & father.
