lol!
funnny.

when I was a kid we used to go to atlantic city boardwalk... it was lots of fun..lots to see and do.

one time we were watching an auction...it was lots of fun..the bids were getting REALLY high...and then my dad realized my younger brother was mimicking one of the people sitting (we were standing in the back) - he was pulling his ear...touching his throat...raising his collar - and other stupid stuff, which I guess meant the people were bidding on the junk...

my dad saw this - realized WE were bidding on this junk - and high tailed all of us out of there...

HANDS, HANDS, Do I see some hands... don't be shy, who wants to buy...

going once...
going twice..

(actually I was just rather bored at work - so jumped into any conversation just ot keep me saine, or insane... )

MISTAKE...

I'M A STAKE (steak?? )

dont know how I got here.. I was just minding my own business, and the next thing I know I am a fileted and grilled catfish in some diner.

I was BAITed, I tell ya.
I thought it was a LURE... but in reality it was all an illusion, a fantasy gone wrong...I was chasing the wrong LORE!

It was all my fault.
Hashem wanted to teach me to be a Yireh Shamayim...but I did not listen.

so instead, late at night while nobody was looking - I learned how to be afraid of those in my house who might catch me.

It was all my fault.
Hashem wanted me to learn to focus so that I could grow.

but I did not listen. Instead, He lead me down the path I chose to follow...I mastered the art of click and flick, and to not give deep thought to anything. I learned how to want everything- and gain nothing.

the story goes on and on...it a long one, and I am not sure the ending is "they lived happily ever after" ...

but along the way came the Magic Fairy, GYE...
who knows what the ending will be now - but it seems to be leading to a good ending.

Mistakes are often the things that turn out to be the most beautiful of them all....

When Shmuel Hanuvi came to Yishaiy in search of the future king of Klal Yisroel, he new it had to be someone Royal, majestic, commanding, regal, and Noble....

He asked Yishaiy to bring forth his Sons...
He saw the first and knew that this was the one. The Royalty blazed forth... he was evidently destined to lead the children of Hashem... It was unmistakable...

But... NO NO this was not the one...

The next son was brought forth....
Wow... His brilliance was sparkling...
Surly this had to be the one...

But NO NO this was not it...

And the next and then the next was brought forth...
Same thing happened...

And this was it... all of Yishaiy's children have been vetted...
So who was the king? who was the one destined for greatness?

Shmuel turned to Yishaiy... "Is this it? Are these all your sons?"

Yishaiy responded:
"Hey wait a second... I do have one more son but he is the one that tends to the cattle... It can't be him... he's the MISTAKE of our family... never really amounted to much..."

So the Little irrelevant useless Dovid was brought forth... He did indeed seem like a mistake...
But Hashem said this is the one.... He is the king of Klal Yisroel... He is the one to lead the nation and bring about Mashiach....

Seemingly it's the "Mistake Guys" that seem to be most valuable in Hashems eyes... they are the ones that will bring the Geula...

Sheker Hachain... V'hevel Hayofi....

Peace and Love Dear "Mistakes"...

And on that theme, it says that Yishaiy was one of the (4 ?) people who never sinned. BUT on the night that Dovid Hamelech was conceived, Yishaiy thought he was doing an aveira. So maybe that was why he thought that Dovid Hamelech couldn't possibly be the one. And this was the theme many times down the generations for the line of Moshiach. Very deep stuff here, what we sometimes think is a terrible mistake can bring the Geula.
