When you're a stranger at the main dance by a Wedding How can you know who the Mechiten (What's the English word again... ??? ??? ??? ???)...Is :-\ :-\?

There are soooooo many people dancing...

He answered that in truth you can't know...
The only way to really know is to wait till the bitter end (or if the marriage ends up working: the sweet end... ;D)

Why?

Because at the main dance everyone is present...
After the main dance the guys who just stopped by to say Hello leave...

So by the second dance you know you are looking at actual friends...

Now, after the second dance more guys pack out...
Then you are left with close friends...

After Benching even the close friends leave....
At this point you can be pretty sure that most guys are family...

Uh.... But even they leave after the Mitzva Tantz (Hu? what's that? Ah.. don't worry it's the part that's meant to be a trigger... Yikes :-\ :-\)...

So at the very very Bitter/Sweet end everyone leaves... It's only the Mechiten that's left....

Here is my question:

How do you know who is a real GYE'nicker ??? ??? ??? ???

Answer: the ones that don't abandon ship when Pesach comes by...
The ones that stick it out when most others are too busy...

(HAHA can't wait to hear from all the hardcore "cleaning for Pesach"  guys.. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D)

I'm just getting back in the game (Day 4 today). I'm checking around GYE for a little chizuk to keep things on track toward Cheirus (real freedom) after so long of treating my lust as a kind of avdus-slavery.

So, GYE really IS my seder prep.

I don't want to leave until the band's packed up....  No in-laws jokes, please.

Back in the ancient days of gye (pesach 2009) there was barely any one here on pesach

I was new to the forum and it was really my lifeline

I checked the forum over and over for signs of life

So here is my analysis

Most people acces GYE (and the uchy shmuts) from their office computer

Many ppl struggle less over yom tov

There is a reverse side to this argument

Yom Tov has its own set of nisyonos

Family outings ,shul, etc..

So here is some plain bardish

Be prepared!!

Yes Women go to shul

Yes women will dress their best (we aint the taliban)

She is not YOUR problem

Even more so

She is not YOUR trigger

Avoid!stay busy! Keep moving!engross in a Torah topic that will keep you on a HIGH all yom tov

Here is plain old advice from the mishnah (yed the Tannaim knew a thing or two,yes NASA spent billions of dollars to find out what was already written in a few line of gemara)

DON'T "SHMOOZE" with women,whoever shmoozes with women brings bad upon himself( yes ,self inflicted) and in the end will inherit Gehennom

If it is customary in your community to say good yom tov
Good say it

If not

Don't

But don't ask mrs.finkleowitzsienberger

If she enjoyed the sedr

Or chol hamoed plans etc.

Follow the advice of the Tannaim!!!
