What is GYE to each of us?  On the one hand, it's a website.  On the other hand, it is a program, which employs multiple tools (the two handbooks, chizuk e-mails, the forum, etc.) to help us go into recovery.

Until I read the Rosh Yeshiva's Haskama, I probably viewed GYE as a website.  An extremely helpful and comprehensive website, but a website, nonetheless.  However, having read the Haskama (more times than you can imagine - I get chizuk every time I read it!), I now view GYE as a comprehensive program to help us go into recovery and keep us there.

Is it possible that those who are more successful are those who view GYE as a program (and invest time and effort into following the program), not merely as a website?

truthfully, 99% oif this site, for me, is the forum.    I need help, and I got no patients to read the hlp, I want people.  So, sorry but I only use the website option of the program. But I'm maskim that this place is a 'far-encompasing' program (we aren't holding by all-encompasing)

Not true, IMT - I'd post the Rosh Yeshiva's Haskama without any excuse!

If the forum alone works for someone, that's fine.  But if, over time, the person keeps falling, maybe it would help to view the forum as part of a larger program that GYE offers.  As the Rosh Yeshiva highly recommends, we should avail ourselves of all aspects of the program [if doing less hasn't been enough for us]
