We used to get like 10 spam posts a day, until I set up the forum that I have to manually approve each member. Most of the time I can tell if a member is real or spam. For the few that I can't tell, I approve them but require that they activate the account themselves. Usually spammers don't bother activating the accounts. However, there are rare cases where they DO activate the account and are spammers, and then they post spam on the forum. I was out for an hour, sorry I didn't delete it sooner. I hope no one clicked on the links!!
