Thanks, Eerie for leading this. There are two Rabbanim that I'm thinking I can approach. They both know me and my family but that's not holding me back. The only issue right now is that I would have to ask my father for their cell phone numbers and I don't think I want to do that...

They both have a big following by the young oilem in the City I grew up in.

There are always other ways to get their number. A lot of times asking around can get it

i would think most people suffering from internet abuse, are not disclosing it to their rabbi/rav,
probably not the best way to get it out to the silent sufferers.

But anyone that is suffering that sees a advertisement for GYE it will hit him hard, he might need to see it a bunch of times and in different places, but hopefully it will get to him one day or another.
GYE does not do enough marketing, they need to shower themselves all over every jewish news paper, and platform and explain clearer exactly whats it all about, and what they offer.
every time they put out a new advertisement next day theres bunch of new members.
this is how 16,000 people joined, lets just take it to next level.

Another point,
best way to get it out there is through חברא חברא אית ליה just peddle it around............it will eventually get to to the rabbis too.

i personally have told many people to check it out this powerful place its so cool..................(just said i happened to come across it, and looks like an amazing place for people that need it) and they did.

what we can do is, give money to GYE, so they can advertise &market properly.

I hear what you're saying but I think, #1 some Rabbaim can sense when people are going through certain challenges but if they don’t know of a solution, they’d rather not say anything. On the other hand, if they do of a solution, they can try to fish out more information from the person and propose that they visit GYE. #2 If a parent approaches their Rav that they caught their child engaging in inappropriate things on the internet, he can tell them about GYE and that there’s help.

i'm writung today b'shlichus of my community, and l'tzoirech many yiddin. i come from a wonderful community called GYE. a place w amazing (and meaningful:)) people, who do great work. we've been thinking recently that it would be great if there'd be more awareness for this community, as so many yiddin today are unfortunately going through this struggle, and it's all so much harder in isolation. (i'ts erroneous!!) it would be tremendous to get the word out for more of our dear brothers to benefit from this resource. (i welcome you to check out the website for more info, or to give a listen to the headlines show on the topic. also, dr. shloime zimerman may or may not have mentioned it when he was on your show.)

it has come to my attention that one of the true tzadikim of gye, who's helped counless individuals in their struggle, has reached out to your team to suggest that you bring him on the show in order to accomplish the aforementioned. w my message here, i want to add just a bit of pressure and see if such a thing can ultimately be pulled off. gevald!

Wow wow wow, this thread brings out a truly amazing aspect of GYE and the chevra here, you see, we are all run of the mill people, with our own busy lives, work, kids, seder and whatever else it my be for you, but the people here find the brain space to help others for sake of helping another Yid.
