Some of the Jewish counselors are considering having a healing weekend in the New York
area and another in the Southern part of the U.S. (Yes, there is a Southern part to the U.S.
and it's not Jersey). Please answer seriously.  Kosher food will be provided, Minyanim,
education, therapy and chizuk.

Wow Elya, this sounds amazing!

Should I post a link to the story on our site about how just such a weekend helped someone we both know?

People, enough with the secrecy and hiding! This is what makes it so hard to heal! This could be the real answer for you finally. Who are you ashamed of? No one knows you there, and they are going through the same thing anyway. And what will they do? Report you to their local Rabbi? And anyway, better shame in this world than in the next world, as in the story of Rav Amram Chasid (see chizuk e-mail #275 on this page (scroll down).

Elya, thanks for being a man of action! First the Jewish Healing Group, then the Hotline, and now Weekends! This is truly amazing.
