Can someone make an easy Email package for ppl to mail to yeshivos. Complete with a clear and descriptive email adressing the issu and importance of the contents, handbook, 12 steps, etc... all adresing the issue to the mashgiach ruchni of ___________yeshiva.

This way everyone on these board can send a 'care package' to all their local yeshivot, and call anonomously to the mashgiach to see if he got the point ("I'm calling anonomously...my son has been...what can we do to help..."). Oh yeah and make a thread for this.

I think if rabbonim recieve personal letters from people IN THEIR KEHILAH, decribing their struggles and what they have to endure, it will have a much greater effect - than just hearing someone ranting about 'the big bad internet' again.
And the word will make it's way to yeshivos from there.

Shmiratainayim, that's a wonderful idea! One of GYE goals is to develop special handbooks geared to the Rabbanim and Mashgichim (similar to the current handbooks) that will give them guidance on how to address these issues. I had an hour and 20 minutes talk with Dr.Phillip Rosenthal who will be speaking at the Agudah Midwest convention and mentioning our work. Rav Zweibel asked to talk with him as well about GYE and so I gave him the run-down on what we do - as well as our plans for the future. This was one of the big points I brought up with him, and one of the big concerns of the Agudah today. "How do we educate today's leaders and Mechanchim on how to deal with this plague?"

We'll get there. One step at a time.

I think the main issue which we need the rabbonim for is the prevention of the problem. Like them seeing to it that their entire kehilah has proper filters, and not just speaking about it.
What are they supposed to do about people already stuck? The only thing they can do is give proper guidance when they are approached by a member of their kehilah. And that should be taken care of rather easily. Just tell them what the necessary steps are. The actual work is what 12 steps and GYE are for.
