There was once a teacher who came into class one day to teach on the first day of school. There was a little trouble maker who came to town that year and in that class. On the first day of school he comes in and slaps the teacher in the face! The teacher right away sends him to the principal. Right before he knocks on the door, he starts to cry. The Principal than seees him and asks what happened? So the boy explained that he is a big trouble maker and didn't mean to but slapped his teacher in the face. The principal was the nicest person you know, so he said don't worry, just go back to class. The boy walks back in and right away gives the teacher a nice juicy slap across the face. The teacher, who is fuming sends him again to the principle. And this boy again starts to cry, knocks on the door, principal opens up, has mercy and says " I understand you are tempted, just go back to class. And a third time this was repeated. Than a 4th, 5th, 10th. And everytime this princible was saying it's ok I understand, just go back to class. Already by the 11th time the boy knocks on the door, so the principle starts to giggle and said " Oh Haha it's you again who slapped the teacher in the face ". Hashem doesn't laugh. Shelomo Hamelech says in Mishlie, " the wrongdoer does wrong 100 times, nut He is still patient with him. We slap Hashem across the face plenty of times, but He is telling us I know what's out there, I created the Yetzer Hara, I hired the teacher, just go back to class and forget about the past. Some people think that Hashem is running around with a stick, that's a mistake. Hashem wants us so badly, and when we are striving from the true path, He has tears rolling down His eyes. It really hurts Him to see us sin. But again He knows what is out there and we are trying to be better than He will help us. As the Gemara says, " One who comes to be pure, we help him ".
Life is like a mountain, Hashem gives us the keys and says " Go down into the world and put as many miles as you want on it. So we drive and press on the pedal to strive high and get to the top of the mountain. If we press the pedal and we do our part, than Hashem will help us. Once we let go of the pedal, and give up, than the car rolls down the mountain. You can never give up!
We have to stay strong in today's day and age. It's a fight, but whoever is on this amazing website, shows that they want to become better people.
Iv'e delt with people who were falling to their Yetzer Hara over 5 times a day (In the Shomer Bris aspect), but he sent a text and said, " I had enough, I want to become better. Now that is proving something. And by all of us, every single one coming out here, trying to become better, and yes we fall, but our brothers pick us up. Hashem sees the achdus and is so proud of us. keep it up.
Just remember, a person cannot say, if Hashem has so much patients, than let me sin 100 times and than I will do Teshuva, because that is getting into dangerous zones. We are talking about the past, what already happened.
" Stay strong, smile, and sing a song"
When a mashal misses a point or two, or sidesteps one, it can stink.
Thanks for the message though.
