My wife has been very supportive, and she's very happy at the changes I have gone through since joining this forum.

Yet, it's not exactly easy for her.  It's especially hard because she feels at a loss for people to speak to.  She doesn't feel comfortable admitting to her friends, "Guess what, my husband was looking at p** on our computer."  Her usual support channels aren't really an option.

She read the letter to GUE wives, but I think it might be helpful for her to speak to someone about this.

What sort of support for wives is available here?

Lots of good links and info on this page.

You can call Elya on our hotline here. Him and his wife have saved many marriages and worked with both sides.

Have her also read this letter by a wife helped by Elya.

Have you heard of S-Anon? Google it. It is group support for the wives of addicts...

Make sure to show her lots of love and giving... She will be happy you are in recovery!

P.S. We're thinking of opening a board or forum for wives of addicts to give each other support. Would she post there?

My wife is having a very hard time with it.  It would be great to have a forum for our wives on here.  I know my wife would join.  She is looking very hard to find help and can't find much and does not want to talk to people about it we know.
