2B and I join, and then every question he gets 3 turns to answer and I get 2...

Just kidding...

Everyone, I spoke to DC about it, and he says it's a perfect way for us to come out of our shells, be with people (OK, VIRTUALLY...) and battle the loneliness and egocentricity (is that a word?) that got us here. ESPECIALLY on the weekends when we don't have the call to anticipate and then chew over.

Motsoi Shabbos is best for me like after 9/9:30, after father-son learning programs and melave malkas. But it may be tougher on the guys in the dating game. That's prime time. Sunday morns I finish with my chabura usually by 11:00am, so 11-12 noon would be perfect for me. And you guys who were up late on dates, or hung over because you had none that week, should be awake & sober by then.

I don't think it could possibly start before next sunday, motsoi Chanukah. Some peple go away also that weekend, some schools have off then, so it might get pushed off even more. Maybe the first time could be an ad-hoc late night mid week, just to get our feet wet, even for a half-hour. Yiddle, please get some advice on what would be the best first questions to field, you know, the least intimidating, like what happened last time we started laughing while drinking soda, chashuva stuff like that...

C'mon guys, let's at least TRY this. We on the DC calls have experienced how non-judgemental our co-horts are. And it's all anon, and might even be funny to laugh at ourselves when we see our own lives mirrored in those of others. So let's trust this fellowship thingy we have on the forum and add eachothers voices to our thoughts.

And it's a heckofalot faster than typing.

BTW, I'm not joking - everyone working here on GYE classifies as a bonefied tzaddik in training, if not in complete, in my book.

I love my shipmates, but I'd really like to broaden my inspiration base (guess I'm still at that selfish level...)
