DDay 14 according to gye and day 13 according to my app (gye starts recount on the day I fell and app starts it the next day). Cool thing was that today I saw something innapropriate by accident and I didn't automatically run to porn ... It did trigger me but I got the extra seconds that I needed to actually debate with myself and decide not to do it. It was an interesting moment, an aha moment for me. If I can put my feelings from that time into words I think it would sound like wow that's cool but stinks for me I have better things to do and hey come on you've seen more than enough porn to (fill in whatever you want here - my mind is drawing a blank. I'm just not thinking of anything remotely humorous.) Plus you got 'lucky' that you even saw that picture. So just take what you got and have a nice day boy.

After writing this I reread this and now I'm notsure what I was thinking. But the experience was cool. I am slowly growing and leaving all this $#&@ behind.

Sorry for filling up everyone's inboxes with so many messages but I like to separate my posts if they discuss different ideas. Lumping random stuff together is not helpful to anyone reading it.

Regarding streaming videos, I personally stream videos more than enough. I was one of those guys who had barely seen any movies before I got married. However, by now I have watched many movies and TV shows. However, I noticed about myself, that if I watch stuff on YouTube I tend to jump from one movie to the next and before I know it I'm at something less appropriate and less and less ... Then it's off to porn I go hiho hiho it's off to more porn I go... So I have stopped watching videos and clips on YouTube. Instead if I want to watch, I'll google the name of a movie (only after checking IMDb parental advisory guide or whatever it's called to get a run down of if it's appropriate or not. Agav, I remember checking those ratings in order to find what innapropriateness was there to turn me on - quite warped if you ask me.) And after that I'll stream it on some video streaming site. This has helped me in a couple ways that I can think of off the top of my head.
I am not jumping all over the place from movie to movie and am instaed focussed on one time wasting activity. This keeps me from slipping and just jumping to something worse ... Eventually ending up at porn.
there is no history on the side nor is there any recommendations on the side that may trigger me.
Although this means that now I'm sitting down for 2 hours straight to watch the movie and I have more important and necessary things to do, who would I be fooling if instead I hung out on youtube with the intention of it only being a couple minutes. I end up being there watching more and more random videos for just as long.
Also, when I watched youtube every five minutes was a test cuz there was enough time to watch another America's. Got talent video or some other randomness. Now, when I sit in front of the computer and don't have two hours the nisayon is much smaller.
thats all that I can think of right now regarding my personal struggle.

I agree with your movie vs. random.

Now I fill Youtube time with GYE time.

I have an unwritten rule on catching up on GYE before watching and then I do not end up watching

WS,

I need to get my eyes checked. Though I appreciate your kind gesture to the likes of an underdog such as myself, your current picture still has a Lashon HaRa

Regarding your post about my song,

You are the guy who told me you never heard the song!!!!!!

OK notubers, here are the lyrics. Is this song not known to every country in the world?:

www.scoutsongs.com/lyrics/bingo.html

G-R-O Double S to the tune of Bingo

There was a giraffe who had a sticking out tongue,
And WS was his name-s.
G-R-O-S-S
G-R-O-S-S
G-R-O-S-S
And WS was his name-s.

There was a giraffe who had a sticking out tongue,
And WS was his name-s.
(clap)-R-O-S-S
(clap)-R-O-S-S
(clap)-R-O-S-S
And WS was his name-s.

There was a giraffe who had a sticking out tongue,
And WS was his name-s.
(clap)-(clap)-O-S-S
(clap)-(clap)-O-S-S
(clap)-(clap)-O-S-S
And WS was his name-s.

There was a giraffe who had a sticking out tongue,
And WS was his name-s.
(clap)-(clap)-(clap)-S-S

In honor of my new friend, the British poster among us.

Do they know this song in GMT time zone? I failed with Bingo.

Do you know the song “Popeye the sailor man?”

Insert -- the geshmake part starts at 55 seconds

Better yet, do you know the version Popeye the sailor Mentsch or we need more links again?

I am Popeye the Sailor mentsch (too-too)

Whenever I eat I bentsch (too-too)

On Friday night I make Kiddush

Because I am Yiddish British

I am Popeye the sailor Mentsch

It was our family minhag to sing this song every time we ate spinach on Rosh Hashana and while everyone said Yiddish, my UK brother screamed out British

Since nobody in any time zone is here to share with me, I have the floor by default and am therefore entitled to just one more.

Who can name this tune (attached)? The nice thing about this forum is that it keeps track of contestants' time when they answer so I do not have to watch who hits the bell first. Though those on the Israel side of the Atlantic have a big advantage.

Excuse me mister 'having fun' in your signature. Group 196 is a catch all forum and we have 'just having fun/chillin' built in. I have remained loyal to this forum only since I was reincarnated.

Thank you all for allowing this to be my abode kavua. There are less than 5 REGULAR posters here. If I would look at any other forum, I would never get anything done. This GYE is too addicting. Maybe I will just go back to YouTube instead as it takes away less time from a (quiet) personality like mine...

This culture is your be all end all. You have said that thrice in less than as many days. Care to explain the esoteric phrases you keep using?

They are all referencing lyrics from different songs. The last one was borrowed from a song by Sean Kingston and modified from shawty to Quiet.

How I have gained from GYE in less than 2 weeks since my reincarnation:

Hearing Yosef's struggle and hearing him (hopefully) striving towards his Rebbe who says short sleeves is assur. That is going to want to make me move back to that person who felt guilty watching paperclips(!)

Singularity and Shua pushing me to view watching porn as worse than I do view, hence I upgraded my definition of slip and fall.

In the middle of an email to Shua, I suggested erasing YouTube history. Then I decided to do it myself

Common denominator, I feel inclined to get something done when I am sharing with others and I make my commitments more public

Due to my desire to be involved in GYE forums, little time is left for YouTube and I feel like I had a good proactive time (perhaps at Shua’s expense)

Thanks. I needed a break from cleanliness and googled some images of shawty and saw some in short sleeves...
I used to think rap was trash, but they make it closer to pop/R&B or I am becoming more tolerant. Care to explain your last 2?
update:
OK, I found staying alive, more of a classic, though I assume from before you were born. So now I know you like blacks ;-). Depending on what you consider Michael Jackson, I see no black artists in my playlist.

Now I cannot find that post about a lady in man's hair which you also said was a reference
