Rabbi Dovid Heber of Baltimore, who has been a member of GYE's Rabbinical Board since 2010, gave permission that the attached letter be shared, including with the GYE community. Rabbi Heber wrote the letter 20 years ago this month when Internet use was in its infancy. In the letter, Rabbi Heber describes the dangers of the Internet, which have come to be all too well-known. [Although it is widely accepted that simply keeping the Internet out of our homes may no longer be a realistic solution, it is extremely important that the appropriate safeguards be in place].
