We’re so Happy to announce the third annual GYE convention in Israel, titled "From Slavery to Recovery", which will take place on Sunday, Nissan 2nd, March 22nd. It’ll be in Jerusalem (exact location will be given to registrants only), between 18:00–22:15.
We’ll have talks from recovering members, various 12-steps workshops on recovery and a panel with Rabbi Dr. Avraham Twersky and Rabbi Yehoshua Shappira.
Rabbi Twersky is the most renown expert for addiction in the Jewish world. He wrote more than 80 books on Judaism and psychology, many of them on 12-steps and Judaism.
Rabbi Yehoshua Shapira is the head of Ramat-Gan Hesder Yeshiva. He’s established many 12 steps groups across the country and trains educators and therapists on the 12 steps program.

Price: 60 shekels
The convention is also intended for wives of GYE members. The price for a couple is 95 shekels.
The convention will be in both Hebrew and English. Simultaneous translation will be available for most parts. In order to hear the translation you need to bring an FM receiver (most cellphones have radios, but they only work with wired earhones).
