Hello Forum,

My birthday will be on Parashas Bereshis. I originally planed to write a Torah portion vort but my brother needs my computer. So instead I want to do something different I was thinking of a special way of celebrating my birthday and decided something special. So what did I decide? What better way is it to celebrate my birthday with all of you and go into it with a clean record. Usually, people wish the birthday person with something special, but, I learned from someone that a birthday is a special time where Hashem renews the bond between the person and offers a gateway of blessings to that individual. Instead of receiving wishes and blessings, I want to give ALL of you a personal blessing that you, no matter where you are in your avodas Hashem, receive great spiritual strength and connection to Hashem. May we all be one day be addiction free and live holy lives. Thanks for all your inspiration from all of you holy Yidden.

Ok, enough about me.

Well, ok, one more thing... Just as soon as I finished typing my wishes to you, GL, my son comes into my office and say, "Ima wants you to come into the house right NOW, to help her. NOW".

So I'm like, "what now?? Doesn't she see I'm busy saving the world? Why does she think she can get me to help with the kids too?" ... ;D

Anyway, not having much choice, I went into the house...

The lights were off.

"That's strange", I thought to myself...

SURPRISE!!! There was my wife, lighting candles on my birthday cake... YAY. (they even crowned me with a birthday crown!)

Thanks everyone for your wishes. Me and GL are having a blast, right GL?

Giant Leap	I didn't really understand your post 7up, but I actually have two birthday a year! 1 the 29th of Tishrei, which is my Hebrew Birthday and then I celebrate again on the 22nd of October. Sometimes, my family celebrate the whole week. Best to be joyous, why not extend it longer. GL.
