On Simchas Torah, during the Hakafos, I got a lot of Chizuk from the words "Shomeir HaBris Aneinu b'Yom Koreinu."  The message I got was that, if we are careful with Shemiras HaBris, then, Middah k'Neged Middah, we are able to ask the Ribbono Shel Olam, Who is referred to here as "Shomeir HaBris," to answer our Tefilos.  This is something we would do well to keep in mind for the entire year.
