I have internet at work, which I do periodically use. For me the problem at work has always been wanting to see a news site, or a weather site, and then I'll see a picture, I'll want to see more, so I'll click on, say, the entertainment section, or something that won't be "blocked" by my company filter. Needless to say, I've realized this is dangerous, which is why I've come here, and I'm afraid I'll get caught seeing something that, even though it's not blocked, but is still inappropriate (not to mention a chilul Hashem if they see a frum guy looking at these types of pictures!). I've started with the 90-day chart, the daily emails, and made pledges to tzedaka if I fall, but I think the temptation will still be so readily close. I asked someone in the I.T. department here if they can even just disable my internet (or better - whitelist it) but he said he can't even do that (I spoke to him saying I don't want the internet to distract me from my work, which is certainly true, but I don't want to make a big deal out of this at work and attract a lot of attention about it). Any ideas? Maybe the shmira from this website is enough....but maybe I'm deluding myself. Thanks for your thoughts!
