Elokai, Neshoma Shenosata Bi Tehorah Hi - Hashem, the soul you placed in me is pure.

The essence of every Jew is a pure soul that strives to have a connection with Hashem. As we go through life and do things here and there that we shouldn't be doing, that connection gets weaker and weaker, like dirt that covers a diamond. However, we need to remember that our ESSENCE is that diamond, that pure neshoma. Therefore, when I'm doing the right thing - davening, learning Torah, doing mitzvos - that's the REAL me talking. It's the other stuff, the dirt that's not real and needs to be gotten rid of.

It says in the seforim that a Jew does not sin unless a spirit of foolishness temporarily blinds him. For some of us, that happens more frequently than for others.

Still we need to keep in mind which is the REAL us - the part of us that wants to be closer to Hashem. The fact that we come to a place like this in an attempt to clean off the shmutz is proof of who we really are.

Really agree to this in every way,
In fact whatever we do hashem really loves us, and as long as we realise when we are doing right, that is what I really stive for. Like how we feel at Neilah on Yom Kippur, or on Seder night. That is the real me, those hours of torah learning or the chessed, can't be taken away, never. When we fall, that's all it is a fall, but bezras hashem we'll get back up, lost a battle, but not the war.
But why be skeptical and call this thread Hypocrite?
We are not fighting the YH as a process to get through in order to be able to get back to normal life; the fight wih the YH is the essence of our existence - Hopeing

Thanks for the acknowledgement and the thanks!

The ID that I chose for myself when I joined this site was for certain ideas that bothered me. It's not really important what they are, but suffice it to say that I'm not skeptical about everything- especially not Yiddishkeit.

As for the title of this thread, I try to come up with titles that will pique the interests of people skimming through thread titles. It should be read as a question and not as a statement.
