And may it be Your will
Hashem, our G-d,
and G-d of our fathers,
to make us used to learning Torah
and connect us to Your commandments.
Do not bring us into the clutches of [accidental] sin,
nor into the grasp of sin [done on purpose].
Do not cause us to be tested,
nor to be brought to disgrace.
Do not let us be ruled over by the yetzer harah.
Keep us far from an evil person,
and from an evil friend.
Make us hold strong to the Yetzer Tov,
and to good deeds,
and compel our evil inclination to be subservient to You.
Grant us this day and every day
favor, kindness and compassion
in your eyes
and in the eyes of all who see us,
and bestow bountiful kindness upon us.
Blessed are You, Hashem
Who bestows bountiful kindness upon His people, Israel.
