Hi Guys,
I've been thinking why is it that God waited until the Israelites had become totally steeped in Tumah and were on the verge of falling to the 50th level of impurity before he redeemed them from slavery.
Why didn't he take them out when they were on the 3rd or 4th level? Was it because they didn't truly desire freedom from Mitzrayim, because their situation hadn't become unbearable?
Applying their story to our own lives, I sometimes think why didn't I discover the truth years before I did, before I hit rock bottom? Was all that pain and suffering necessary and even good in the long run? I don't want to feel sorry for myself, but I just don't understand why God allows things to reach a desperate do or die stage before he saves us from ourselves and the YH.
