I think the logo is brilliant! At first it struck me as strange, but after really looking at it, its ingenious! It mamash looks like a regular eye if you look at it long enough. I agree that the guarding is a bit subtle but it's clear if you just think for a few seconds. The font doesnt bother me at all. Re: The comment about the picture of the guy on the tightrope: that isnt for a logo. It might be great for the website's home page but a logo is supposed to be simple and related to the name. my opinion.
