Reading through the topic"wheres everyone from" i couldnt help but notice how many yidden there are here from the holy city.
When I first became aware of my addiction,I decided to join the local slaa group.When I got to the meeting,it was just me and one other guy.
Another meeting found me and several middle aged women who were not really frum.
While aware and respectful of some people's desire for complete anonymity,I am of the strong opinion that an sa or slaa meeting would do good for many people here.While the forum is amazing,there is nothing more helpful than a group meeting in person of sharing and support.
If there are any people interested,maybe we can arrange a meeting.
I can PM'd or emailed and if a meeting is decided on,the details will be messaged privately so it will remain as quiet as possible.
What does the oylam think?
