Uri, good to have you visit us. How's the Yeshiva going?
Is there really a username Kookooreekoo or is that a joke?
I love your songs, and I think you're great. However, I have to mention that I don't see a contradiction between fighting the Y"H internally and joining the Israeli army. The Nahal Hareidi or Hesder are good options for the religious. In fact, they might compliment each other. I am not saying you HAVE to if you don't want to or don't feel ready for it, but I'm just saying I don't see a contradiction between the two battles. You can win public AND private medals.
Peace,
Momo
that stanza was not written to berate the army in any way.
in my opinion, though,NO sex addict should go to the army.there might be those who disagree,of course.they are entitled to that opinion, obviously.
the point that i was trying to make is that people see me sometimes as a draft-dodging lazy person.
but i am fighting a very intense war that is just as difficult and with less breaks.no breaks in fact.
but far from being recognized, nobody knows.
i just sometimes wish people could see.
sorry if anyone was offended.
many of my closest friends are/were in the army, and i most definetly hold alot of hakaros hatov for anyone who would put his life on the line for his people.just not for me at the moment.
